Each year, the Whale Watching Spoken Here Program, along with hundreds of volunteers, provides 2 weeks of great whale watching and education along the Oregon coast.

This year, you can enjoy the program from December 27 to 31, 2017 and March 24 to 31, 2018.

The Whale Watching Spoken Here Program began in 1978 and has become one of the most organized and best known citizen science projects in the nation. WWSH volunteers have contacted nearly 1 million visitors along the Oregon coast and have had the opportunity to educate the public about gray whales and other marine life.

The program is administered by Oregon State Parks and the public is invited to visit the Depoe Bay Whale Watching Center at 119 Highway 101 in Depoe Bay, Oregon. The center can be reached at (541) 765-3304.
