The Oregon State University’s Hatfield Marine Science Center and the Oregon Audubon Council present Science on Tap at Rogue Brewery in Newport’s South Beach. The presentation is entitled Ecology of Seabirds & Forage Fish in Oregon’s Estuaries and Nearshore Waters by Wayne Hoffman, Policy Director, MidCoast Watersheds Council.

Wayne Hoffman, ornithologist and photographer, will explore and demonstrate the diversity of avian and marine species that key into the run of herring and other forage fish.

The event will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. Doors open at 2:30 p.m., and the presentation will begin at 3:00 p.m. The family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Seating is limited and early arrival is recommended. Food and beverage will be available for purchase from the regular menu.
