Intertidal Zone
Sometimes referred to as the littoral zone, the area of a shoreline which is above water at low tide but submerged at high tide.
Any animal species lacking a spinal column.
Invasive Species
A non-native or alien plant or animal species introduced to a local ecosystem and which is likely to cause economic or environmental harm.
A landform surrounded on all sides by water.
The forty-third state in the union, Idaho is located in the northwestern region of the United States. It borders both Washington and Oregon on the east.
Relating to the Indian Ocean and the parts of the Pacific Ocean immediately adjacent to it.
The area of the shoreline which is covered with water at high tide but exposed to the air during low tide.
An apparatus which provides a controlled environment for the growth of living organisms.
Isotopes are different foms of a single element in that the element's atoms have the same number of protons but different numbers of neutrons.
Indian Ocean
An ocean located south of India and extending from the eastern coast of Africa to the East Indies and Australia.
