Inland Areas

Geographically, the inland areas of Oregon are those from the coastal mountain ranges east to the valleys beyond. For the purposes of the Oceanscape Network, we're including in this section the Coast Range Mountains, Klamath Mountains and Siskiyou Mountains; plus the valleys and other areas just to the east of them. In some cases (such as the John Day Fossil Beds) we may also include locations outside of this narrow swath if they are pertinent to other topics on this website.
