Category: Aquarium Announcement
The Oregon Coast Aquarium is ready to help educators of all kinds integrate Oceanscape Network resources into their curriculum through a FREE one-hour workshop.
The workshop will provide detailed information on how to build online student communities and facilitate inquiry-based science projects in classrooms or other programs. If the orientation is held in a WIFI-equipped location, we can sign teachers up for their free user accounts on the spot!
Must be a public or private school, home school, or informal education program in Oregon, southern Washington or northern California.
To reduce travel expenses and related costs for the Aquarium, we ask that organizers include as many educators as possible in a session.
Must have an appropriate indoor location for the orientation, preferably with an open WIFI signal.
NOTE: Oceanscape curriculum is written for grades 9-12, although it can be adapted to middle school. We are happy to provide workshops to other grade levels if they meet the other requirements listed above.
Contact us Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. PST at (541) 867-3474, Extension 5314; or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Due to demand and travel considerations, we encourage you to have multiple dates and times available as your first choice may not be available. Thank you!
