Outdoor Etiquette

Manners count, even outdoors. Let’s face it, we head outdoors because we want to enjoy nature and have fun.

  • Stay Out Areas

Make sure you know where you are and that you have permission to be there. If you come to a fence or locked gate, don’t bypass them – they’re there for a reason.

  • Beach trash

Help keep trash and other contaminates out of creeks, rivers, the ocean or other waterways. If you see trash and can remove it safely, please do so.

  • Respect wildlife

When you're out exploring nature, always observe wild animals from a distance and never approach them, even if they seem injured or in need of help.
